Safety in the household
Always disconnect the faulty appliance from the network first. Never use the appliance if its housing or insulation is damaged or if the contacts are poor – even if the appliance is in a working condition otherwise. Have the faults examined and repaired with an expert. Have your appliance, cables, sockets and switches checked regularly. The faulty cables have to be replaced.
