Nowadays the most well-spread form of heating is still based on the boiler-hot water-radiator trio. The heat transferring appliances can be hidden under the floor, the plaster on the walls or in the form of radiators under the windows. Each has its own advantages and disadvantages as well. The reaction time to temperature changes and the degree of comfort at their disposal are not easy to compare. Regulations play an important role in the decline of convector heaters, which are otherwise efficient and fairly easy to install. Leading the exhaust fume away is a problem which cannot be overcome, however.
